TOKYO, September 19, 2006 --- Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group, Inc. (SMFG, President: Teisuke Kitayama) hereby announces that the ブックメーカーjリーグ for exercising the right to request acquisition (the “Acquisition ブックメーカーjリーグ”), formerly called the conversion ブックメーカーjリーグ, and the floor ブックメーカーjリーグ for exercising the right to request acquisition (the “Floor Acquisition ブックメーカーjリーグ”), formerly called the floor conversion ブックメーカーjリーグ, with respect to its First to Twelfth Series Type 4 Preferred Stock (the “Preferred Stock”) were adjusted as set out below in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Preferred Stock.
