(SMFG, President: Teisuke Kitayama) hereby announces that the price for exercising the right to request acquisition (the “Acquisition Price”), formerly called the conversion price, with respect to its Type 3 Preferred Stock (the “Preferred Stock”) will be reset as described below in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Preferred Stock.
